What is TABLE FOR TWO Sophia?
TABLE FOR TWO Sophia (通称TFT Sophia)は、開発途上国の飢餓と先進国の肥満の原因とされる食の不均衡の問題解決に取り組む日本発のNPO「TABLE FOR TWO」の上智大学支部です。
上智学内のカフェテリア(2号館、9号館、11号館)、SUBWAY(2号館)とハラルカフェ(ホフマンホール)にて健康的なメニューを提供しています。食堂で販売されているTFTメニューを購入していただくと、1食につき20円の寄付金がTABLE FOR TWOを通じて開発途上国に送られ、貧しい子供の給食1食分となります。
TABLE FOR TWO Sophia (TFT Sophia in short)is a volunteering circle at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. We help out the NPO "TABLE FOR TWO" (founded in in Japan) which works on the elimination of the hunger in developing countries and obesity in developed countries.
We provide healthy menu to our University Cafeterias (Bldg 2, 9, 11), SUBWAY (Bldg 2) and Halal Cafe (Hoffman Hall). If a person purchases one of our provided dishes, 20 yen gets donated to the developing countries, which turns into one lunch meal for a poor child.
